Job summary

INDAPE is seeking a Senior Tech Support Engineer to join a fast-growing MSP in Harlow, Essex. You will resolve hardware, software and network issues, manage Microsoft 365/Azure/Intune/Teams, and handle LAN/WAN and firewall configurations using WatchGuard and Palo Alto.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years MSP experience at 2nd/3rd line, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a track record of end-to-end ticket ownership. Onsite role with opportunities for certifications and career growth.

Qualifications

• 4 years MSP IT support, 2nd/3rd line, onsite and desk support.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Small projects, e.g. new starter setups, device rollouts, office moves.
• Own tickets end to end in a PSA within SLA, with minimal escalation.
• Contribute to client technical reviews and recommendations

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Configure and maintain Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and Teams services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve LAN, VPN, firewall management, and network-related issues, including WatchGuard and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Deploy and support Microsoft 365 products, including Entra ID, SharePoint/OneDrive, and Teams.
• Manage devices and policies using Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Microsoft Intune.
• Optimize and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (Apply online only and virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V.
• Utilize RMM tools for proactive system maintenance and monitoring.
• Maintain and enhance network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, and VPNs.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies to enhance service offerings.
• Escalation point for complex and major incidents, including root cause analysis
• Design, deliver and document client projects (migrations, network builds, server replacements)
• Mentor junior engineers and review ticket quality
• Write and maintain technical documentation and build guides
