Job summary

Ackerman Pierce Education is seeking a Tech Support Engineer for an exciting MSP in Harlow, Essex. The role requires 2–3 years of 1st/2nd line IT support experience, with a passion for learning and technology.

You will configure and support Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and Teams, manage networking and firewall tasks, and work on Windows Server environments and Hyper-V. A UK driver’s license and own car are preferred. Competitive salary and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with IT Support 2-3 years 1st/2nd line, ideally in an MSP with onsite and support-desk experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Small projects like starter setups and device rollouts; manage tickets end-to-end within SLA.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Configure and maintain Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and Teams services.
• Troubleshoot LAN, VPN, firewall management (WatchGuard, Palo Alto).
• Deploy and support Microsoft 365 products including Entra ID, SharePoint/OneDrive, and Teams.
• Manage devices and policies using Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Microsoft Intune.
• Optimize Windows Server environments and virtualization (Hyper-V).
• Utilize RMM tools for proactive system maintenance and monitoring.
• Maintain and enhance network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs).
• Stay updated with emerging technologies to enhance service offerings.
