Trainee Cover Supervisors - Immediate start! Are you a recent college graduate or contemplating a career towards education? Wanting to gain in classroom experience working as a Cover Supervisor and get a feel for teaching!?

About the Role

Consider joining us at Tradewind Recruitment as a Cover Supervisor for secondary schools in Portishead/Nailsea/ South Bristol, starting from ASAP or from January on short- or long-term placements. Tradewind provide a free Cover Supervisor course + 2,500 CPD courses, ensuring you are up skilled and constantly improving your abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a positive learning environment
• Engaging with students and facilitating productive class sessions.
• Controlling the classrooms behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy
• Presenting a lesson with the resources provided (you don't actually need to know about the subject)

We offer competitive pay ranging from £120-£130 per day PAYE, Monday to Friday, with flexible days to accommodate your availability. Whether you can commit to a full week or just a few days, we'll work with your schedule.

Requirements

• Experience working with young people aged 11-16 (preferred)
• A Levels in relevant subjects
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional references
• Legal right to work in the UK
• No prior teaching experience is necessary, but enthusiasm, communication skills, and a minimum of A Levels (preferably in English, Maths, Science, Business, Drama, Psychology, Humanities, or Sports) are desired.

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll work in secondary schools, overseeing various subjects and ensuring the smooth delivery of lesson plans!
