Job summary

Specsavers in Clydebank is looking for a proactive Trainee Optical Assistant. You don't need previous optics experience; you will help create an outstanding store environment for customers and colleagues and ensure every patient receives the best care.

We offer full training and support to help you develop specialist knowledge, with opportunities to progress within optics. This is a rewarding role that starts your journey in a national optical retailer with a friendly team of 35 staff.

Qualifications

• Passion for providing excellent customer service and helping customers.
• Strong teamwork and initiative.
• Confidence using IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Create an outstanding store environment for customers and team, ensuring every patient receives the best care.
• Participate in full training and development to gain optics qualifications.
• Work full-time across 5 days, including a weekend day.

As a Trainee Optical Assistant, you don’t need to have previous experience, you just need to be prepared to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team, making sure every patient receives the best care in our stores. Full training and support will be offered for this role. Based in Clydebank a friendly and welcoming store in the beautiful dunbartonshire, with fantastic facilities and accessible by road or public transport.

We have a wonderful team of 35 dedicated and professional people in our store who are ready and waiting to meet you.
