CrossCountry is hiring Train Managers for Newcastle, with January and 2027 start dates. You will travel on Voyager trains, selling tickets, advising passengers, and ensuring a safe journey. Training lasts 10 weeks in Derby, with a salary of £35,371 during training and £41,292 after completion. Average hours are 35 per week, and shifts may include weekends.

You must live within 1 hour of Newcastle and be able to travel at unsocial hours. A safety-critical medical and DBS check are required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering frontline customer service in transport or retail.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends.
• Clear communication with passengers and groups.

Responsabilités

• Check and sell tickets on board trains.
• Advise passengers about their journey and provide accurate information.
• Communicate individual needs to customers and fellow crew.
• Fix and report defective equipment; manage luggage issues.
• Work with On-Board colleagues to ensure a memorable journey and high safety standards.
