CrossCountry is recruiting a Train Manager for Manchester, starting January 2027. You will check and sell tickets on board, advise customers, and ensure a safe journey while working with On-Board colleagues to deliver memorable experiences.

The role requires living within an hour of Manchester Piccadilly, willingness to work shifts (including some weekends), and passing safety-critical medical and DBS checks. Derby will host the initial training.

Qualifications

• Role requires living within 1 hour of Manchester Piccadilly.
• Willingness to work shifts and weekends.
• Safety-critical medical and DBS check required.
• Ability to travel at unsocial hours.

Responsabilités

• Check and sell tickets on board CrossCountry services.
• Advise customers on journeys, individually and in groups.
• Manage luggage issues and report defects.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable train environment, reporting faults as needed.
• Work with On-Board colleagues to deliver a great customer experience.
• Complete the initial 10-week training course in Derby.
