About the role

As a Trailer Technician/Fitter, you will perform a variety of tasks from routine maintenance to roadside repairs, ensuring trailers are in top condition. Tasks include:

• On-site servicing and breakdown handling
• Preparing trailers for MOT in the workshop
• Attending roadside breakdowns and performing repairs at customer sites
• Conducting quayside trailer checks and repairs
• Upholding health and safety standards
• Demonstrating efficiency, promptness, and responsibility

Candidate requirements

Relevant engineering or mechanical skills, ideally with experience in a similar role. Good time management and ability to work under pressure are essential. A full driving license is required; a C+E license is advantageous but training can be provided. Candidates with less experience but a mechanical background are encouraged to apply, with earning potential between £32,000 - £36,000 depending on experience and overtime.
