Randstad UK CPE team is looking to onboard an NSI Traffic Marshall to join a residential site in Letchworth Garden City.

  • Job Title: Traffic Marshall (Construction)
  • Location: Letchworth Garden City, SG6
  • Pay Rate: £15.00 - £17.00 per hour
  • Contract: Ongoing / Long-term
About the Role

You are a reliable and safety-conscious Traffic Marshall joining our project in Letchworth Garden City. This is a long-term, ongoing position in maintaining a safe site for both workers and the public.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guiding vehicles and heavy machinery through designated routes to ensure smooth traffic flow.
  • Using hand signals, signs, and radios to communicate clearly with drivers and operators.
  • Monitoring the site for obstructions or unsafe conditions and taking immediate action to mitigate risks.
  • Implementing established traffic management plans and ensuring the safety of pedestrians at crossing points.
  • Assisting with site security to deter unauthorized access and maintaining accurate records of traffic flow or incidents.
  • Participating in toolbox talks and reporting any safety hazards to site management.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Valid NPORS or CPCS Card (Traffic Marshall/Vehicle Marshaller).
  • NSI 08 or 06 Qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Traffic Marshall on utility or large-scale construction sites.
  • A recent, checkable work reference is essential.
  • A proactive approach to site safety and clear communication skills.
  • Must be able to commit to the full duration of the project starting in January 2026
