Job summary

Go Traffic Management is seeking an on-site supervisor to manage client schemes and oversee daily activities at depots and sites. You will liaise with the depot team to ensure productivity, safety, and on-time delivery of resources and paperwork.

The role requires previous traffic management experience and a 12D qualification, with the ability to lead operatives and sub-contractors, and to coordinate site audits and training as needed.

Qualifications

• Essential: Previous Traffic Management experience.
• Must hold 12D qualification.
• Strong on-site supervision and people management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• GTM point of contact for Client; attend site visits and complete site surveys.
• Check daily job packs ensuring TM plans are collated and briefs issued.
• Monitor Client Programme and liaise with Depot Manager for resources and kit.
• Lead programme meetings and supervise operatives and subcontractors to maintain high standards.
• Complete paperwork accurately and ensure it is returned to the correct department.
• Chase missing paperwork and coordinate site audits with the Depot Manager.
• Ensure 24/7 call-out service via the agreed rota and handover for out-of-hours works.
• Deliver team compliance briefs with the Depot Manager; contribute to monthly team briefs.
• Assist regional and depot managers with staff recruitment and training.
