Jewson in Driffield is recruiting a Tool Hire Manager to lead the Tool Hire function, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will ensure equipment availability, maintain stock levels, and coach the team to uphold safety standards on a day-to-day basis.

The role requires previous Tool Hire experience, strong customer focus, and a proactive sales mindset to grow the business. You will work with the Branch Manager to maximise profitability in a busy, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Tool Hire experience with leadership or management is preferred.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the Tool Hire function and ensure efficient operations.
• Build strong customer relationships and grow sales through cross-selling and upselling.
• Ensure equipment is available to meet customer needs and maintain stock levels.
• Coach colleagues, provide feedback and support their development.
• Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally.
• Ensure equipment is handled safely and health and safety procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager to maximise profitability and deliver an excellent customer experience.
