Job summary

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store independently, maintain security and standards.
• Handle cashing up, banking responsibilities when required.
• Lead on the shop floor in the absence of senior management.
• Deliver excellent customer service and coach colleagues on sales techniques.
• Maintain floor presentation and visual merchandising to brand standards.
• Assist with stock rotation, replenishment and promotions during peak trading.
• Support training and onboarding of new colleagues and communicate daily priorities.

About the Opportunity

T.M. Lewin is opening a new store in Bluewater shopping centre later this year, and is looking for part-time Keyholders to join the team.

This is a great opportunity to be part of a new store opening, working closely with store management and playing a vital role in supporting daily operations and driving sales. This role is perfect for someone with solid retail experience who wants to take the next step toward management.

Hours are flexible, with opportunities on a part-time basis (minimum 15 hours per week).

Key Responsibilities

Operational Duties

• Open and close the store independently, ensuring security and operational standards are met
• Handle cashing up, safe checks, and banking responsibilities when required
• Take charge on the shop floor in the absence of senior management

Sales & Service

• Deliver outstanding customer service, role modelling the standards for the team
• Coach colleagues on sales techniques, product knowledge, and upselling
• Help maintain TM Lewin's "Shirt Expert" service reputation

Visual Merchandising & Store Standards

• Maintain floor presentation and visual merchandising to brand standards
• Oversee stock rotation, replenishment, and promotional setups during peak trading

Team Development

• Support the training and onboarding of new colleagues
• Support the store management team to clearly communicate sales targets, promotions, and daily priorities to the team

About You

• Experience in a retail environment essential - ideally high street fashion
• Keyholder background strongly preferred
• Comfortable taking responsibility and solving problems independently
• Positive, collaborative communicator who enjoys working in a team
• Passion for tailoring, fashion, and delivering a premium shopping experience
• Flexibility to cover a range of shifts, including weekends, early opens, and late closes
• Motivated to develop into a store management role over time, with the capability to take on increasing responsibility
