Job summary

Our client, a well-established residential developer, is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to run a 75-unit timber frame development in Cardiff. You will take ownership from site set-up through to completion, driving programme, quality, health & safety and customer satisfaction to deliver on time and within budget.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will manage daily site operations, coordinate subcontractors and labour, maintain high standards, monitor costs and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Proven Senior Site Manager experience in housing development.
• Strong timber frame residential development experience.
• Track record of delivering multi-phase housing schemes.
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality homes and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage the build programme to hit milestones and completion dates.
• Lead on-site operations, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Deliver exceptional build quality across all construction phases.
• Manage subcontractors and labour to meet company standards.
• Monitor costs and minimise waste while maintaining programme targets.
• Conduct regular quality inspections on completed homes.
• Maintain high health and safety standards and compliance with legislation.
• Collaborate with Technical, Commercial and Customer Care teams.
• Lead, motivate and develop the on-site team.
