Job summary

Sphere Solutions are recruiting an experienced Assistant Site Manager with a timber frame housing background to support the Site Manager on a North Coast Cornwall development.

You will supervise trades and site teams, enforce safety standards, monitor progress and quality, and coordinate with technical, commercial and wider project teams to ensure on-time delivery. The role offers £45,000-£50,000 salary plus Car Allowance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as an Assistant Site Manager on timber frame housing developments.
• Background working with housing / contracting.
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualified as a minimum.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of site operations and helping to keep the build programme on track.
• supervising trades, subcontractors and site teams to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme.
• Supporting the implementation and monitoring of health & safety procedures and site standards.
• Assisting with quality control and ensuring work is completed to the required specification and customer expectations.
• Monitoring progress on site, resolving day-to-day issues and reporting updates to the Site Manager.
• Liaising with technical, commercial and wider project teams to support the smooth delivery of the development.
