Job summary

The FR Group in Lancaster is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a high-spec timber-frame, new-build housing project. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage the programme, ensure quality standards, and drive safety on site to meet project requirements.

A proactive approach to problem solving and strong communication will help you lead trades efficiently and maintain schedule. Experience in residential construction, timber-frame systems, and delivering high-quality homes is essential.

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within new-build housing.
• Timber-frame experience is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, coordinating subcontractors and trades, maintaining programme and quality standards, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong background in residential construction, particularly someone with timber-frame experience and a proven track record of delivering high-specification homes to a high standard.,

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within new-build housing
• Strong knowledge of residential construction
• Previous timber-frame experience is highly desirable
• Experience working on high-specification developments
• Excellent attention to detail and quality
• Strong communication and subcontractor management skills
• A proactive approach to site management and problem solving
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of health & safety
