Job summary

Skilled Careers is seeking an Assistant Site Manager for a 114-unit timber-frame residential development in Daventry. You’ll work with the Site Manager to drive build quality, compliance and programme while coordinating trades and maintaining site records.

Timber-frame experience is advantageous; candidates with SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid credentials will have a strong edge. Ambitious individuals can progress with a growing developer in the Midlands.

Qualifications

• Timber-frame residential construction experience preferred.
• SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid credentials are advantageous.
• Strong organisational and process-driven approach required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate trades and subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure build processes and procedures are consistently followed.
• Monitor quality throughout each build stage.
• Maintain accurate site records, inspections and documentation.
• Drive health & safety standards across site.
• Monitor programme and achieve key build milestones.
• Identify and resolve issues before they impact quality or schedule.
• Support plots through to completion and handover.
