Job summary

Our client, a well-established residential developer, is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to run a 75-unit timber frame development in Cardiff. You will take ownership from site set-up through to completion, driving programme, quality, health & safety and customer satisfaction to deliver on time and within budget.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will manage daily site operations, coordinate subcontractors and labour, maintain high standards, monitor costs and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Proven Senior Site Manager experience in housing development.
• Strong timber frame residential development experience.
• Track record of delivering multi-phase housing schemes.
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality homes and customer satisfaction.

Our client, a well-established and highly regarded residential developer, is seeking an experienced Senor Site Manager to run a 75-unit timber frame development in Cardiff.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished Site Manager looking to take ownership of a quality residential scheme from site set-up through to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving programme, quality, health & safety and customer satisfaction, ensuring the development is delivered on time and within budget.

The Role

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, coordinating subcontractors, direct labour and suppliers while maintaining the highest standards of construction and customer care.

• Managing the build programme to achieve project milestones and completion dates.
• Leading all site operations, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.
• Delivering exceptional build quality throughout all phases of construction.
• Managing subcontractors and ensuring productivity and workmanship meet company standards.
• Monitoring costs and minimising waste while maintaining programme targets.
• Conducting regular quality inspections and ensuring all homes are completed to a high standard.
• Maintaining excellent health & safety standards and ensuring full compliance with current legislation.
• Working closely with Technical, Commercial and Customer Care teams throughout the build process.
• Leading, motivating and developing the on-site team.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or experienced Site Manager within the housebuilding sector.
• Strong experience delivering timber frame residential developments
• A track record of successfully managing housing developments of a similar size and complexity.
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• A proactive approach with the ability to solve problems and manage multiple priorities.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality homes and exceptional customer satisfaction.
