A leading healthcare trust is seeking Therapeutic Radiographers to join their team at Colchester Hospital. Your role will involve providing high-quality patient care and technical practice in radiotherapy. You will be responsible for operating advanced equipment and mentoring students. We are looking for Therapeutic Radiographers to join our team at ESNEFT at Colchester Hospital. We focus on delivering high‑quality treatments in line with the National Radiotherapy Service specification. We see the holistic care of patients as paramount throughout the patient journey.
You will provide the highest quality of technical practice, patient care and ensure targets are achieved and be encouraged to gain a comprehensive set of skills and competencies. You will be supported in your professional learning and development and we actively encourage post‑qualification study. You will also be key to the training of undergraduate therapeutic radiography students, providing mentoring and training.
Our hospitals are equipped with Varian Truebeam linear accelerators, Halycon and an Ethos. All are equipped with Intensity‑Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT) and Volumetric Arc Therapy (VMAT) capability, on‑board imaging (OBI) systems for image‑guided radiotherapy (IGRT) using planar imaging and cone‑beam CT (CBCT) and respiratory gating. They also have the capability to deliver stereotactic ablative body radiotherapy (SABR).
