Job summary

Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital is seeking an Endoscopy Scrub Practitioner/Theatre Practitioner (ODP) for a part-time, ad hoc position. You will work in Endoscopy within a dynamic theatre team, delivering high-quality perioperative care and patient-focused experiences.

The role requires registration with the appropriate governing body (HCPC or NMC) and post-registration Endoscopy experience. You will join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to excellent patient outcomes and staff

Qualifications

• Registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC).
• Post-registration Endoscopy experience within a Theatre environment.
• Demonstrates empathy and strong patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Work in a multi-disciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload.
• Use state-of-the-art Endoscopy theatre equipment and facilities.
• Supervise, support and develop junior team members.
• Provide high-quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence-based.
• Opportunities for continuous growth and Surgical First Assist training may be available.

Up to £30.00 per hour depending on experience

As an Endoscopy Scrub Practitioner/ Theatre Practitioner (ODP) at our hospital, you'll be focused, detail-oriented empathetic with great communication skills. You're registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC. With post-registration experience in Endoscopy within a Theatre environment, you're a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

As an Endoscopy Scrub Practitioner or Theatre Practitioner (ODP), you will:

• Work in a multi disciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload
• Use state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities
• Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team
• Provide high-quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting
• Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based
• Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, which can include Surgical First Assist training.
