Job summary

Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital is seeking a Theatre Practitioner (RN/ODP) to join our bank team on a part-time basis. You will be registered with the relevant governing body and bring post-registration experience to a fast-paced surgical environment.

In this bank role you will work ad-hoc to cover shifts at Bristol Hospital, with a £30 per hour rate, supporting consultants and the multidisciplinary team while upholding our high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HPC).
• Post-registration experience in theatre/scrub settings.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with consultants and the multidisciplinary team.
• Operate with state-of-the-art equipment and deliver high-quality patient care.
• Supervise and support junior staff where required.
• Contribute to a safe and efficient theatre environment.

Nuffield Health is looking for a Bank Theatre Practitioner at our Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital.

As a Scrub Nurse or Theatre Practitioner (ODP) at our Bristol Hospital, you're registered with the appropriate governing body and you hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC or HPC. You bring a passion for high standards, a meticulous eye for detail and post-registration experience.

As a Theatre Practitioner / ODP you will;

• Work closely with leading consultants and other like-minded professionals, who will respect and value what you bring to the close-knit multidisciplinary team.
• Enjoy opportunities to work on a varied caseload using technology, equipment and facilities, which are all state-of-the-art.
• Supervise, support and develop junior members of staff.
• Deliver high quality care and experiences for patients, which is always clinically effective, evidence based and appropriate.
• As part of the wider hospital team you will interact with colleagues on the ward because you understand that continuity in patient care is key.
