Purpose of the role
Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing, you will manage your own team with full responsibility for people, procedures, and processes. You will motivate and engage the team to meet business targets, creating a positive and respectful environment.
As the Test and Commissioning Manager, you will oversee manufacturing improvements, working collaboratively with departments, and striving for excellence and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain effective communication with managers, staff, and other departments to ensure smooth workflows.
- Oversee planned monthly work aligned with customer delivery dates to improve Lead Times for sales orders.
- Ensure all team members are knowledgeable about company products and related topics.
- Maintain processes and procedures within your area of responsibility.
- Encourage reporting of non-conformance and near misses; own root cause analysis where applicable.
- Support team members' growth to reach their potential.
- Delegate responsibilities effectively while maintaining control of your area.
- Monitor and improve team efficiency continuously.
- Manage daily activities of the team.
- Promote high standards of Health and Safety and manufacturing best practices.
- Conduct appraisals and provide constructive feedback.
- Address performance issues promptly and constructively.
- Communicate goals, plans, and roles clearly to the team.

Knowledge, Qualifications, and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven management skills to optimize team performance and development.
