Job summary

Reed in Partnership is recruiting a Test Centre Associate for Leicester. The role supports DVSA testing operations, invigilates exams and delivers tests with integrity and fairness.

You will greet candidates, check IDs, and ensure secure testing environments that meet policy and guidelines. We offer flexible working patterns (part-time or occasional shifts) with a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Significant demonstrable experience in providing high-quality customer service.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure to short timescales and multi-tasking.
• Experience working with diverse customer groups.
• Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
• Flexibility in working hours and days, including evenings and Saturdays.
• Ability to remain calm and handle confrontational candidates professionally.
• A full UK driving licence is preferred, though not required for all locations.

Responsibilities

• Providing a high level of customer service.
• Checking candidates' ID documents and booking them in on the system.
• Ensuring the integrity and security of tests are maintained.
• Supervision and invigilation of tests.
• Explaining the test process to candidates and assisting with queries.
• Reviewing tests and test centre schedules.
• Performing daily test centre opening and closing procedures.
• Ensuring the test centre meets candidate needs in line with the Equality Act and diversity policy.
• Handling and reporting incidents that could impact candidate testing.
