Job summary

Reed in Partnership is recruiting a Test Centre Associate for Newcastle to invigilate exams and oversee the smooth delivery of tests at our DVSA programme. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, verifying candidate IDs, and maintaining test integrity across shifts in a dynamic environment.

The position offers flexible hours, including evenings and Saturdays, with part-time patterns and potential for additional hours.

Qualifications

• Significant demonstrable experience in providing high-quality customer service.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure to short timescales and multitask.
• Experience working with diverse customer groups.
• Excellent judgement and decision-making skills.
• Flexibility in working hours and days, including evenings and Saturday.
• Full UK driving licence (driving not required for all locations).

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Check candidates' ID documents and book them in on the system.
• Ensure the integrity and security of tests is maintained.
• Supervise and invigilate tests.
• Explain the test process to candidates and assist with queries.
• Review tests and test centre schedules.
• Perform daily test centre opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with ensuring accessibility for candidates in line with Equality Act.
