Job summary

Howdens Joinery is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to grow and nurture our local trade customer base. In a field-based role, you will win new business, build trusted relationships with depots, and convert conversations into long-term trade partnerships across your territory.

You will work closely with depot teams to expand account spend, introduce customers to the Howdens model, and manage inquiries from first contact through to resolution, all while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven field sales experience with a track record of meeting/exceeding targets.
• Experience engaging trade customers from initial contact to close.
• Ability to learn product ranges in joinery and hardware and articulate value.

Responsibilities

• Win new business by proactively approaching prospective customers.
• Grow and manage the account base across the territory with depot support.
• Introduce customers to the Howdens model and drive spend growth.
• Collaborate with depot teams to maximise trading opportunities.
• Build lasting relationships with new and existing accounts.
• Handle customer inquiries professionally from first contact to resolution.
• Contribute performance insights in team meetings and keep data up to date.
• Adhere to Health & Safety standards in all activities.
