Howdens Joinery Limited is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to grow a local trade customer base across your designated UK territory. This field-based role offers autonomy to manage your workload while collaborating with depot colleagues to drive sustainable growth through strong relationships and teamwork.

You will win new business, network with trade customers from first conversations, and develop product knowledge in joinery and hardware.

Qualifications

• Track record in winning new business or target-driven sales.
• Confident engaging trade customers from first conversation.
• Able to learn joinery and hardware product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Win new business by proactively approaching prospective customers and converting opportunities into new accounts.
• Grow the account base across your territory, supporting depot performance.
• Introduce new customers to the Howdens model and explain its benefits.
• Collaborate with depot teams to increase account spend and trading frequency.
• Build strong, lasting relationships with new and existing customers.
• Handle customer inquiries professionally from first contact to resolution.
• Contribute to team meetings with insights and performance updates.
• Keep data accurate and visible across activity and pipeline.
