Job summary

Howdens Joinery is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to grow the local trade customer base across your UK territory. You will win new business, nurture relationships, and work closely with depot colleagues to drive sustainable growth and trading frequency.

Qualifications

• Track record of winning new business or working in a target-driven sales role.
• Confident engaging trade customers from first conversation.
• Self-motivated, resilient with a drive to succeed.
• Ability to build product and service knowledge in joinery and hardware.
• Strong organisation skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Win new business by proactively approaching prospective customers and converting opportunities into new accounts.
• Build and grow the account base across your territory, supporting each depot’s performance.
• Introduce new customers to the Howdens model and explain how it works.
• Collaborate with depot teams to increase account spend and trading frequency.
• Build strong, lasting relationships with new and existing account holders.
• Handle customer enquiries from first contact through to resolution and keep data up to date.
