Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is recruiting an Area Sales Manager in Maldon to grow sales of professional horticultural machinery. You will manage an established customer base, win new business and take ownership of your territory.

Successful candidates will have sales experience, strong communication skills and a drive to succeed, with a full UK driving licence and ability to travel within the region. Competitive salary with commission, company car, and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience, preferably in horticulture, machinery or related sectors.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Good organisational and IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft software.
• A full UK driving licence and ability to travel within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an established customer base across the Maldon area.
• Sell professional horticultural machinery and equipment.
• Identify new business opportunities and grow sales.
• Build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Plan customer visits and manage territory effectively, negotiating to meet targets.
