Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover West Sussex and parts of East Sussex from Burgess Hill. This field-based role focuses on selling professional groundcare machinery to an established customer base while growing the territory.

You will identify new sales opportunities, manage relationships, and negotiate to meet targets, with a company car and commission on offer. A strong, self-motivated, team-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience, ideally in groundcare or related sectors.
• Knowledge of professional groundcare machinery advantageous.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Sell professional groundcare machinery and equipment and grow sales across West Sussex and parts of East Sussex.
• Develop and manage an established customer base; secure new business opportunities.
• Meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service in person, by phone and email.
• Plan visits, manage territory efficiently and maintain accurate records.
