Agricultural Recruitment Specialists Ltd invites applications for an Area Sales Manager position in Cambridge, focusing on groundscare machinery. The role is field-based, developing an existing customer base and winning new business across related sectors.

You will demonstrate machinery, prepare quotes, negotiate terms, and drive sales targets within a defined territory, supported by a professional dealership team and structured training.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
• Legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop existing customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
• Promote and sell a range of groundscare machinery and related equipment.
• Visit customers, perform machinery demonstrations and prepare quotations.
• Negotiate sales and manage opportunities through to delivery and aftersales follow up.
• Work toward sales targets and maintain an active sales pipeline.
• Build knowledge of the local market and identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with the dealership team to support sales performance and customer service.
