Job description

FM Conway is currently seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our fast-growing Aggregates and Asphalt Division. As our Territory Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales revenue growth while nurturing customer relationships for the Aggregate and Asphalt division. This is a full-time position based at our Theale Depot.

The duties of the Territory Sales Manager role will include:

  • Pricing and providing quotations for the supply of asphalt and aggregates to external customers
  • Managing an agreed list of customer accounts from initial quotation to invoice payment and collaborating with the credit control team to ensure credit terms are upheld invoice queries are resolved promptly
  • Actively developing and growing relationships with an existing portfolio of customers
  • Building and maintaining relationships with all relevant teams within the Aggregate and Asphalt division ensuring the business operates effectively and efficiently to meet divisional targets
  • Actively contributing to commercial group discussions, completing weekly market reporting, monthly forecasting, and managing the sales pipeline
  • Managing your own diary to include regular strategic customer and site meetings

What skills and experience do you need?

To be considered for the Territory Sales Manager role you must have previous sales experience ideally from either an aggregates or construction background. You will have a strong customer focus, with a solid understanding of the cradle-to-grave sales process and be commercially aware. This role will involve travel to other FM Conway and customer locations, and therefore the successful applicant must be able to drive and possess a full UK driving licence.
