Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the wastewater treatment sector, creating actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive market entry, expand customer base, and achieve revenue growth targets.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry forums, and networking events, establishing a strong presence and generating new business opportunities.
  • Proactively source and qualify leads through cold-calling, referrals, networking, and targeted outreach, maintaining an up-to-date and accurate sales pipeline.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive proposals, technical presentations, and demonstrations tailored to customer needs and market demands.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, and product development, to align efforts and deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals, ensuring they meet or exceed set sales objectives and profitability goals.
  • Continuously monitor competitor activity and market trends, adapting strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Support broader commercial activities, such as contributing to marketing initiatives, developing promotional materials, and participating in global company events.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as CRM updates, sales reporting, and providing detailed feedback to drive improvements in strategy and operations.

What You Bring:

  • Minimum 5 years of proven success in B2B sales, with experience in the wastewater treatment industry.
  • Proven success in B2B sales.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and tasks effectively.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all documentation and processes.
  • Fluent English with exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Comprehensive understanding of wastewater treatment technologies, equipment, and biological processes.
  • Collaborative mindset, working closely with internal departments to drive results.
  • Ownership of regional sales processes and pipeline management.
  • Flexibility to support additional responsibilities, including representing the company at external events.
