Job summary

Howdens Joinery is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to grow local trade accounts across your designated area. This field-based role offers autonomy to build relationships, win new business and convert conversations into long-term partnerships while collaborating with depot teams to drive growth.

You will need a track record in target-driven sales and the ability to engage trade customers from first contact, plus a Full UK driving licence.

• Experience in target-driven sales with a proven wins record.
• Ability to engage trade customers from first contact.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Win new business by proactively approaching prospective customers and converting opportunities into new accounts.
• Grow account base across territory, supporting each depot’s performance.
• Introduce customers to the Howdens model and its benefits.
• Collaborate with depot teams to increase account spend and trading frequency.
• Build strong relationships with new and existing accounts.
• Handle customer enquiries professionally from first contact to resolution.
• Share insights and performance updates in team meetings.
