Job summary

Howdens Joinery is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to grow local customer accounts and build lasting trade partnerships. This field-based role offers autonomy to win new business, manage your territory, and collaborate with depot teams to drive sustainable growth.

You will engage trade customers from first contact, develop product knowledge in joinery and hardware, and maintain accurate data and pipeline to support dealership performance.

Qualifications

• Track record of winning new business or target-driven sales experience.
• Confident engaging trade customers from first conversation.
• Self-motivated, resilient with drive to succeed.
• Ability to build product and service knowledge in joinery and hardware.
• Strong organisational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Win new business by proactively approaching prospective customers and converting opportunities into accounts.
• Grow the account base across your territory and support each depot's performance.
• Introduce new customers to the Howdens model and its benefits.
• Collaborate with depot teams to increase account spend and trading frequency.
• Build lasting relationships with new and existing account holders.
• Handle customer enquiries professionally from first contact to resolution.
• Contribute insights and performance updates in team meetings.
• Keep data and pipeline up to date for visibility across activity.
