Job summary

Howdens Joinery is recruiting a Territory Sales Representative to grow local trade accounts across your designated territory in the UK. You will win new business, build strong relationships with trade customers, and collaborate with depot teams to drive growth and revenue.

You will manage opportunities from first contact through to conversion, maintain accurate data, and uphold health and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to win new business and hit targets.
• Ability to engage trade customers from first conversation.
• Self-driven with resilience and a results focus.
• Develop product and service knowledge in joinery and hardware.
• Excellent organisation to manage a fast-paced field role.

Responsibilities

• Win new business by proactively approaching prospective customers and converting opportunities into new accounts.
• Grow and nurture the trade account base across your territory in collaboration with depots.
• Introduce new customers to the Howdens model and how it delivers value.
• Collaborate with depot teams to increase account spend and trading frequency.
• Build strong, lasting relationships with new and existing customers.
• Handle customer enquiries professionally from first contact to resolution.
• Contribute insights and performance updates in team meetings.
• Keep data up to date for visibility across activity and pipeline.
• Work safely and in line with Health & Safety standards.
