Job summary

South Lanarkshire Council is advertising a part-time Cleaning Supervisor/Cleaner role at Forth Primary School in Forth, ML11 8AE. The post covers 15 hours per week during term time, split 7.5 hours as Cleaning Supervisor and 7.5 hours as Cleaner.

Pattern is Monday to Friday, 3pm–6pm, with an hourly rate of £13.80 for cleaners and £14.12–£14.27 for supervisors. The successful candidate will supervise a small team, monitor cleaning standards, set up rooms for lets, ensure site security, and report

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning operations and supervising a small team.
• Knowledge of COSHH regulations and on-site safety.
• Ability to monitor cleaning standards and report issues to management.
• Experience setting up rooms for events or lets.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Facility Assistants (Cleaning)
• Carry out cleaning tasks on floors, furniture, fixtures and fittings
• Monitor cleaning standards per specification and COSHH regulations
• Set up rooms for lets and act as on-site lead for health and safety issues
• Ensure building security and act as key-holder when required
