Job summary

South Lanarkshire Council is recruiting for two part-time cleaning posts at KEAR Campus School in Blantyre. Post 1 runs 6am–9am, Post 2 3:30pm–6:30pm, 15 hours weekly each, on a term-time basis. The role involves floor and fixture cleaning, security duties and adherence to COSHH standards.

The positions are temporary until 30 June 2027, with an hourly rate of 13.80 and employment through Community and Enterprise Resources. PVG checks and overseas checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Duties include carrying out the cleaning function on floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings and sanitary areas.
• Must report to the Cleaning Supervisor and work to predefined schedules.

Responsibilities

• Undertake cleaning tasks including buffing floors and fixtures.
• Ensure building security when required as a key-holder.
• Monitor cleaning standards and report issues to management.
