Job summary

East Ayrshire Council is seeking a part-time Cleaning Supervisor based at Darvel Primary School. You will direct and document cleaning staff to meet contract standards and support stock control, equipment maintenance and quality control across the site.

This role involves Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under PVG checks, with 16 hours per week (Mon-Thu 3.00pm-6.30pm; Fri 3.30pm-6.00pm). The post is term-time and pays £14.39–£15.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• PVG Scheme membership required for Regulated Work with children or protected adults.

Responsibilities

• Direct and document cleaning staff to meet contract standards.
• Comply with policies for stock control, equipment maintenance, quality control, on-site training, staff and wages control.
• Assist with promotion, delivery and integration of objectives within the Facilities & Property Management Service Plan and the Community Plan.
