Job summary

South Lanarkshire Council is seeking a part-time Cleaning Supervisor at Blacklaw Primary School. You will supervise a team of Facility Assistants, carry out cleaning across floors and rooms, and ensure COSHH standards are met. You may act as key-holder and contribute to health and safety on site.

This 15-hour-per-week role runs during term time, 3pm–6pm, with cleaner and supervisor rates. The post includes room setup for lets, recruitment checks support if needed, and pension and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning and facilities supervision preferred.
• Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings and sanitary areas.
• Monitor cleaning standards and report issues to management.
• Set up rooms for lets and act as a responsible on-site person for health and safety.
