Job summary

South Lanarkshire Council invites applications for two permanent cleaning posts at St Andrew's and St Bride's High School, East Kilbride. Each post is 15 hours per week, term-time, with early morning or late afternoon shifts, and £13.80 per hour.

You will perform cleaning duties across floors, furniture and sanitary areas, report to the Cleaning Supervisor and ensure safety standards. Applications from male applicants are particularly encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out cleaning on floors, furniture, fittings, sanitary areas and walls.
• Using buffing machines to clean floors as per schedule.
• Ensuring security of the building and acting as key-holder as required.
• Removing refuse and disposing of waste.
• Monitor cleaning standards and report issues to management.
