Job summary

Liberty Property Services in Birmingham is seeking a confident Tenant Liaison Officer to join our team. You will act as the main link between residents, clients and housing teams, ensuring servicing and compliance works are carried out with minimal disruption.

You’ll build relationships with tenants, manage communications, and support access to properties while assisting vulnerable residents and maintaining accurate records. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Birmingham.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role and handling challenging situations calmly.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with residents.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Building positive relationships with tenants, neighbours, housing officers and client representatives.
• Managing customer engagement and communication throughout the process.
• Delivering legal appointment letters and carrying out legal appointment visits where required.
• Visiting properties to achieve access.
• Conducting door-to-door engagement and approaching compliance deadlines.
• Supporting vulnerable customers and understanding individual requirements.
• Resolving customer concerns professionally to reduce complaints.
• Working with scheduling teams to improve access rates and performance.
• Maintaining accurate customer records and updating systems.
