Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is recruiting for a Tenancy Sustainment Officer based in Merseyside to join a Housing Association on an interim contract with potential extension or temp-to-perm. We're recruiting for a Tenancy Sustainment Officer to join a Housing Association in Merseyside!

We're looking for an experienced Tenancy Sustainment Officer to join a Housing Association on an initial contract, with potential opportunities for extension or temp-to-perm.

Essential experience: Previous experience in tenancy sustainment, housing support or homelessness services is essential. We're looking for someone resilient, compassionate and confident working with vulnerable individuals and managing challenging situations.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting tenants to maintain their tenancies and prevent homelessness.
• Managing a caseload of tenants experiencing complex needs and challenging circumstances.
• Providing advice and guidance on rent arrears, budgeting and welfare benefits.
• Developing personalised support plans to help tenants overcome barriers to sustaining their tenancies.
• Working closely with vulnerable individuals to promote independent living.
• Liaising with local authorities, support agencies and other housing professionals.
• Carrying out tenancy visits and property checks where required.
• Supporting tenants to access relevant services and move towards long-term housing stability.
• Maintaining accurate case records and monitoring progress.

Location & Contract Details

We're looking for a passionate and proactive housing professional who wants to make a genuine difference, prevent homelessness and help tenants achieve long-term housing stability.

• Location: Merseyside
• Contract: Interim, with potential extension or temp-to-perm opportunities
• Working pattern: Monday–Friday, 5 days per week
• Workplace: Hybrid – 3 days on-site and 2 days working remotely
