Job summary

Northern Recruitment Group is seeking a dedicated Tenancy Sustainment Officer for a housing association in the UK. You will support customers to sustain tenancies and access housing, health, welfare and community services, working with partner agencies and ensuring accurate record-keeping.

The role emphasises dignity and respect for clients, with opportunities to develop action plans, advocate on their behalf, and contribute to a compassionate, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Support new and existing tenants to maintain successful tenancies.
• Provide advice around rent arrears, repairs, property condition and anti-social behaviour.
• Help customers understand and comply with tenancy agreements.
• Develop action plans and provide regular support.
• Act as an advocate and help access housing, health, welfare and community services.
• Build relationships with customers, colleagues and external agencies.
• Maintain accurate records of support and outcomes.
