Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You will drive a Royal Mail van on your round and also deliver on foot, serving your local community in all weather.

This role offers varied shifts with pay rates shown below; training and a driving assessment are part of the onboarding process. If you take pride in public service and staying active, we'd love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be a team player who can adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels in your community, driving and walking the route as required.
• Securely deliver all items, including election materials and certain items like food or alcohol, per Royal Mail standards.
• Provide exceptional service and be the face of Royal Mail in your neighbourhood.
