Job summary

Royal Mail is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers.

As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine and driving round your delivery area.

Shifts vary and pay rates are time-based, with a driving assessment required on start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and occasionally deliver items on foot.
• Pass a driving assessment on start and follow Royal Mail standards.
