Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join us as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine, driving a Royal Mail van on your round.

Roles involve walking up to 20,000 steps daily, loading mailbags up to 16kg, and flexible shifts. A driving assessment is required to start, with pay rates shown for each shift.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts vary and require adaptability at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as a Post Person with Driving in your community.
• Drive your delivery round and deliver items securely to reach every destination.
