Job summary

Manpower (United Kingdom) is seeking an experienced Housing Officer to join the Local Authority housing team in Fareham on a temporary 6-month contract. You will manage a caseload in temporary accommodation, supporting residents to sustain tenancies and work with partner agencies to improve neighbourhoods.

You will handle rent arrears, anti-social behaviour cases, and conduct welfare checks and property inspections.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing, tenancy management or homelessness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage cases in temporary accommodation.
• Support tenants to sustain tenancies.
• Investigate rent arrears and ASB.
• Represent the organisation in court where required.
• Conduct tenancy visits and welfare checks.
