Job summary

Formula 1 is seeking a Telemetry Engineer to join the Track Systems team. You will plan, deploy, commission and run the F1 Telemetry system across Grand Prix circuits, working closely with FIA, racing teams and suppliers.

You will lead RF installations, provide engineering direction for Telemetry and On‑Car systems, monitor performance and ensure high reliability, with travel to international events up to 70% of the time.

Qualifications

• Experience in F1 or high‑level motorsport environment.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills enabling clear communication with multiple internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment and operation of RF installations at Grand Prix circuits.
• Provide engineering leadership for Telemetry and On‑Car systems.
• Support trackside, paddock and team integration issues to resolution.
• Configure and monitor broadcast/IT systems for data/video distribution.
• Plan race event preparation activities and ensure timely execution.
• Maintain inventories and lifecycle of telemetry hardware.
