Job summary

Formula 1 is seeking a Telemetry Engineer to join our Track Systems team. You will plan, deploy, commission and run the F1 Telemetry system, ensuring robust communication between on-car systems and trackside infrastructure.

You'll lead events, provide engineering direction for Telemetry and On-Car systems, and drive continuous improvement across race and non-race activities, including equipment inventories and logistics for international travel.

Qualifications

• Degree in electronics, RF or related field and strong RF fundamentals.
• 3+ years in complex operational environments interfacing with hardware/software.
• Experience with RF systems and high-performance operational environments.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment, commissioning and operation of RF installations at circuits.
• Provide engineering direction for F1 Telemetry and On-Car systems.
• Support trackside, paddock systems and team integration; log and drive resolutions.
• Monitor performance, identify faults, and optimise telemetry/data paths.
• Plan race event prep activities and manage equipment inventories.
