Job summary
Formula 1 is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to provide system oversight and support for Telemetry, On-car and trackside services at events worldwide. You will act as SME for Telemetry and On-car electronics, coordinating with FIA, teams and media while ensuring data integrity and system reliability.

Qualifications
- Track record of 5+ years in motorsport interfacing with software/electronics.
- Experience in systems engineering and RF principles.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally and work at events.
Responsibilities
- Provide system oversight and support for Telemetry, On-car and trackside services.
- Act as SME for Telemetry and On-car electronics; track and resolve issues.
- Liaise with FIA, F1 Teams, and Broadcast & Media on technical topics.
- Monitor data, identify faults and performance improvements.
- Ensure systems meet performance and reliability requirements.
- Prioritize issues and allocate resources to resolutions.
- Promote communication between R&D and operations; align with requirements.
- Attend up to 70% of F1 events to install, commission and operate systems.
