Formula 1 is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to provide system oversight and hands-on support for Telemetry, On-car and trackside services. You will act as SME for Telemetry and On-car electronics, coordinating with FIA, F1 Teams and Broadcast to resolve technical topics.

The role involves monitoring data, identifying faults, and driving improvements while aligning with F1 processes, with substantial travel to events.

Qualificações

• Educated to degree level in electronics engineering or mechatronics (or suitable equivalent).
• 5+ years of experience in motorsport interfacing software and/or electronics.
• Strong knowledge of RF principles and the challenges of a motorsport environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide system oversight and support for Telemetry, On-car & trackside services.
• Act as SME for Telemetry and On-car electronics; track issues with Event Issues Management.
• Liaise with FIA, F1 Teams, Broadcast & Media on technical topics.
• Monitor and analyse data to identify faults, performance issues and improvements.
• Ensure Telemetry and On-car systems meet performance quality and reliability; prioritise issues and allocate resources.
• Attend up to 70% of F1 events to install, commission and operate systems.
