Formula 1 is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to provide system oversight and support for Telemetry, On-car and trackside services. You will act as the SME for Telemetry and On-car electronics, coordinating with FIA, F1 teams, and broadcast partners.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in motorsport, deep systems engineering knowledge, RF experience, and strong English communication. Willingness to travel internationally and attend many events is required.

Qualifications

• Degree level education in electronics engineering or mechatronics.
• 5+ years of experience in motorsport environment, interfacing with software/electronics.
• Strong understanding of RF principles in a motorsport context.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management.

Responsabilités

• Provide system oversight and support for Telemetry, On-car & trackside services.
• Act as subject matter expert for Telemetry and On-car electronics systems and track issues.
• Coordinate with FIA, F1 teams, broadcast and other stakeholders on technical topics.
• Monitor data, identify faults and drive improvements in system performance and reliability.
• Attend up to 70% of F1 events to install, commission and operate systems.
